Getting Close, REAL Close

I went to Gardner Village tonight and met my photography partner in crime, Stephanie there.

My homework was all about getting close, curves, and lines.

Here are my favs in order of most fav, to not as much a fav but still love it.

What Happens In Vegas...

I started my photography classes last Tuesday at the University of Utah.
My homework assignment for the last week was all based on Shutter Priority.
There were three parts to the assignment: Freeze moving object, Panning, and Long Exposure.

For the first part, freeze moving object, I went to the park with my sister-in-law and my friend Stephanie. Here's Abby chasing after a bubble.

This would have been the greatest shot ever if I hadn't had my ISO set way to high. It is what made this picture so grainy. I am so bummed!

For the next two parts of the assignment, we went to Las Vegas. What better place to get lights in motion shots than Vegas!

Panning: When you get a moving object in focus and blur background to show motion. I think it was luck that I got this shot with a BMW Z3 in it!

The first day of school in their adorable new outfit and backpack, swimming in the pool, learning to ride a bike, their first lost tooth, first haircut, them playing their favorite instrument or sport, reading their favorite book, Halloween or everyday dress-up costumes, Easter with their fancy clothes and basket, you name it, I can shoot it. I have lots of ideas for these types of shoots so if you need any, let's talk. Call me and together we can create the perfect mini shoot for your child or children that captures their world and personality perfectly.

• $50 for doing the shoot at my indoor home studio, $75 for going to your house or other location.
• Up to 30 min session
• One location, one child, one background, one outfit.
  
• Images will be placed in an online gallery for sharing with friends/family where you can order lab quality prints from this gallery. I never delete your gallery so it will always be there for you as a backup.
• Note: Disc is NOT included with this session.

{Family Session} $275

• Session includes up to 6 people (Add $25 for each additional person.)
• Usually lasts up to 90 minutes
• one location (additional locations $50 each)
  
• I will edit 30-50 of the best images. You will receive the high res versions on a disc.
• Images will be placed in an online gallery for sharing with friends/family and you can also order lab quality prints from this gallery as well. I never delete your gallery so it will always be there for you as a backup.

{Children Session} $200

• Session includes up to 4 children (Add $25 for each additional child)
  
• Usually lasts up to 90 minutes
• One location (additional locations $50 each)
• I will edit 30-50 of the best images. You will receive the high res versions on a disc.
• Images will be placed in an online gallery for sharing with friends/family and you can also order lab quality prints from this gallery as well. I never delete your gallery so it will always be there for you as a backup.

{Extended Family Session} $350

• Includes pictures of entire group, grandparents, adult siblings, and grandparents with grandchildren.
• Extra $75 per family for individual families, kids, and spouse photos. Each family will receive a disc with all high res images.
  
• Usually lasts up to 90 minutes
• One location (additional locations $50 each)
  
• I will edit the best images which you will receive on your discs.
  
• Images will be placed in an online gallery for sharing with friends/family and you can also order lab quality prints from this gallery as well. I never delete your gallery so it will always be there for you as a backup.

{Newborns/ Infants up to 1 year} $200

• For newborn only. Add $25 for each additional child.
  
• Up to 90 min session with both studio and select outdoor locations (weather permitting).
  
• I will edit 30-50 of the best images. You will receive the high res versions on a disc.
• Images will be placed in an online gallery for sharing with friends/family and you can also order lab quality prints from this gallery as well. I never delete your gallery so it will always be there for you as a backup.
• Combine maternity session with newborn session for $300 ($50 discount).
• NOTE: Best age for newborns is 2 weeks or younger.
  

{Maternity Session} $150

• For mother and father only. Add $25 for each additional person.
• Up to 60 min session
  
• I will edit 30-50 of the best images. You will receive the high res versions on a disc.
• Images will be placed in an online gallery for sharing with friends/family and you can also order lab quality prints from this gallery as well. I never delete your gallery so it will always be there for you as a backup.
• Combine maternity session with newborn session for $300 ($50 discount).

{Milestone Photo Session} $150
(ie. Baptism, Missionary, Senior, etc.)

• Up to 60 min. session for one child/teenager. Add $25 per extra person.
• I will edit 30-50 of the best images. You will receive the high res versions on a disc.
• Images will be placed in an online gallery for sharing with friends/family and you can also order lab quality prints from this gallery as well. I never delete your gallery so it will always be there for you as a backup.

{Mini Shoots} $75-$100
