Little Kate just turned one on Christmas Day. Here's a couple for mom. Kate was a bit squirmy today and did not want to sit still so we are going to try again tomorrow!

Me, my brothers and our families all went sledding tonight. We got there kind of late so the lighting wasn't the best, but I still got some fun ones.

My parents came up for Christmas and as always the visit came and went too fast. I snapped these of them this morning before they left. I really got emotional editing these because every ounce of love I have went into these. I miss them already -- they are the greatest parents.

Lookie Loo -- The "W" Family

This family took me up on my offer of pictures for a new location. Have to say it was an awesome one and it was their own yard! There is also a trailhead just up the street I can't wait to check out in the summer. Thank you for contacting me -- I loved working with you and your kids. I have to say this was my easiest family to shoot yet. The kids all looked right at the camera and smiled without any coaxing!


Most of these pictures were shot with my Christmas present from Santa -- a Macro 105mm f/2.8 VR lens! I also got a second lens but it is on order and I am hoping to get it soon. It's the brand new 50mm f/1.4 AFS. Thank you Santa!













I am in love with this little boy. He loves the camera as much as it loves him!

I literally had to do "eenie meenie miney moe" to pick these pictures of him because I love them ALL. Sorry mom, you have a really hard decision ahead of you!

Just a few things I love about Christmas.

'Twas The Night Before Christmas...

'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse....

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds..... maybe not!

Michael has a major crush on my friend Steph's little sister. Together they are M&M!!!!
Steph posted some pictures on her blog yesterday of her sister for Michael and titled it, "Merry Christmas Michael". Once Michael saw it, we both agreed it deserved a Merry Christmas back so here it is -- even with a matching fur lined hood!
