Announcing the New Additions to the Family...

At the end of last December I ordered this baby and and she has been so back ordered it has taken until today for her to arrive! Here is my new baby....

It's the brand new 50mm f/1.4 AF-S. Isn't she pretty?

While I was at Pictureline picking her up, I saw this big guy and just had to bring him home too!

This is the Nikkor 85mm f/1.4
My little camera bag now feels so complete! (If you want to know what else I have in my bag there is a list in the right hand column.) I'll have to do a shoot with them in the next couple of days to show you the amazing things these babies can do!

Hi,
I found your blog through a blog of blog or something like that. I would love to get into professionally shooting, but for the time being am just trying to get more experience. I had a couple of questions for you. The first is how much of a difference do you see with your new 50mm f/1.4 and the 50 mm f/1.8? Next I wanted to know what you equipment you use for your home studio and how much space your recommend? I love you shots and I am a huge color fan too!!! Thanks so much for taking time to read this.

I, too, found your blog through another blog that I can't even remember now. But you sound like a fellow photographer soul mate, as I, too, shoot with a D300 and just ordered my new 50mm 1.4 AF-S! My site is www.ariaportraits.com. I'm trying to update my photography blog (http://ariaportraits.blogspot.com), but was wondering...how do you get your nice layout on your blog with such big pictures? Is it Minima Stretch? Because I still couldn't get my pictures big. :( Anyways, I love your work! Can't wait to see the photos you'll be taking with your new lenses!

I think I'm kinda of jealous about the 85mm 1.4
I think i'll need to use it a few more times when we're shooting together before I make a decision.
I'm still working on getting the 14-24 2.8 and you've already got me thinking about the 105 macro

I'm glad we can make eachother jealous. I guess i do get to enjoy my D700 :)
