...I just had a little impromptu photo shoot of my fav little girl this morning. Yes, she is wearing another new dress from Matilda Jane. I love their clothes! They are the cutest I've ever seen.

Those Who Know Me Best Know That Sometimes I Can Be An Airhead

It's true, I can really be an airhead. I think my mom passed her blonde genes on to me even though I got my dad's dark hair! I did a photo shoot of my brother's family a couple weeks ago. There were two parts to the shoot since they let me take their pics in the morning and then late afternoon to see when the best lighting was. I totally forgot about the late afternoon pics and just left them all alone in a folder. Well, I just found them and I know my sister in law wants to see them so here are a couple of favs. Yes, I admit I am an airhead.








I have to say why I love the above picture so much. In all of my family pictures growing up there was one constant. I was the only girl and had to pose and smile perfectly for every picture. My four brothers on the other hand were a different story! They could never be serious or take a picture without at least one of them making a face. Well, as you can see, it looks like it runs in the family!

Okay so I got some new Matilda Jane clothes in the mail and just had to get pictures! I also wanted more practice in my basement studio. So I got my favorite model and here is what I got...

Babysitting Surprise

I got to babysit my niece today while my sister in law had carpal tunnel surgery. Of course I took full advantage of it and got her dressed up and took pictures!! My sister doesn't even know I did this so this is going to be a surprise for her! Something tells me I may get asked to babysit a lot more!

Provo Meetup Pt. 2

Remember these? Some of you may not. It's a typewriter and I remember doing many a school report on one of these! I have to say that I used a much newer model than this one though! (I'm not that old!) They pulled out this typewriter at the Meetup and I had to photograph it!









We also did some bokeh.

Provo Meetup

I belong to 3 different photography groups that meet about once a month and do photo shoots. Last night was the meeting for "Provo Area Digital Photography Meetup" (long name huh?) and my friend Steph and I had a little too much fun!!!

This is a FIRST for me everyone! I have always wanted to take a picture that I could post straight out of the camera with no editing (I shoot in RAW) that looks AWESOME as is. So here it is on the left, my first. No editing, just straight from my camera to this screen.

On the right side I went ahead and edited it anyway just for fun!



Look closely, you can see my reflection in her pupil!
